TREVOR FISK AND ALEX TRIER MADE PSUA HISTORY, SCORING THE FASTEST GOAL FOUR SECONDS INTO THE CONTEST AGAINST FREDONIA. TRIER WOULD TIE UP HIS FACE-OFF MAN, ALLOWING FISK TO PICK UP THE LOOSE PUCK, SKATE HARD ACROSS THE BLUE LINE, LETTING THE SHOT FLY AND BEATING GOALTENDER NELSON HIGH OVER BLOCKER SIDE. THE NIGHT WOULD TURN INTO A RUN AND GUN SHOOTOUT WITH FREDONIA OUTLASTING THE LIONS 12-6. THE LIONS WERE MISSING SEVERAL PLAYERS DUE TO A FAMILY FUNERAL AND JUST RAN OUT OF GAS. AUSTIN PALMER WOULD CONTINUE HIS SCORING STREAK TALLYING TWICE. SOPHOMORE SHEA WALDRON WOULD HAVE A GOAL AND 3 ASSISTS. FRESHMAN PETER REVEILLE WOULD HAVE A 2 GOALS AND AN ASSIST. TREVOR FISK WOULD HAVE A GOAL AND AN ASSIST. RJ BONNANI AND ANDREW "BEAR" PATTERSON WOULD ALSO ADD AN ASSIST. PSUA WOULD GET TWO POWER PLAY GOALS. THE LIONS WOULD ONCE AGAIN BE HEVILY OUTSHOT. DAVE ROBERTS WOULD STOP 42 OF 54 SHOTS. COACH LANTZ HAD THIS TO SAY ABOUT THE TEAM.
