PSUA LOSES TO NORTHWOOD 6-2

Traveling to Michigan with a thin roster the Lions are facing an uphill battle this weekend playing in the Schupan Tournament in Midland, Michigan. Thursdays night game proved to be that challenge. Playing on Olympic size ice for the first time this season, the Lions would strike first blood, when Rob Mattern would score from an assist from Patrick Kinch on a two on one. Then Northwood would score 4 consecutive goals. Jamsey Rossi would score on ana assist from Joe McGoldrick to make it 4-2. The Lions would appear to have scored a powerplay goal early in the third, but the goal was waved off, when Northwood's goalie kicked the net off. That demoralized the PSUA and momentum was lost as Northwood would score two more goals. PSUA Goalie Chris Ryan would be named second star of the game.
