The Lions returned home Saturday afternoon for a rivalry game against Pitt-Greensburg.  Freshman Nico Gricco would lead the scoring with a 5 point afternoon (2 goals and 3 assists).  PSUA would strike first blood 1:20 into the game as Jeff Hagan would set up his linemate Gricco, for the games first tally.  Gricco would then return the favor to Armen Asdorian less than three minutes later.  Pitt-Greensburg would then tie the score 2-2 at the end of the first period.  The Lions would reestablish the lead 4:19 into the second period as Asdorian would capitalize on the power play assisted by Gricco and Steve Fedena.  two minutes later Gricco would score his second of the game from freshman defenseman Michael Ludwig.  Zach Lyons would make it 5-3 assisted by James Vercellotti and Armen Asdorian.  The Bobcats would then score late in the second period giving the Lions a 5-4 lead at the end of two.  The third period action would be back and forth until a delayed penalty call would result in a Michael Ludwig goal assisted by Luk Devorksi.  Per ACHA College rules if a tea scores on a delayed penalty, the team will remain on the power play.  And less than two minutes later, with the man advantage, Devorski made Pitt-Greensburg pay, assisted by Asdorian and Gricco.  Final Score PSUA 7 Pitt-Greensburg 4.  Sophomore goalie Johnny Travis would earn the teams MVP Belt stopping 27 of 31 shots, with some outstanding acrobatic saves in the third period.  "I was very pleased with the teams effort today.  We had to focus on a lot of getting the puck deep and presenting a strong neutral zone forecheck. "  said Coach Lantz.
